Watchmakers lathe TAPPING MACHINE

  
This is a tapping machine specifically for the accurate use of small taps associated with watchmaking. It has a flat ground and scrapped base with a column to hold the head that is able to be clamped at any position on the column. The base is 5cm x 7.5cm and the overall height is 16cm. It will accommodate taps with up to 4mm diameter shanks. The round black handle can be positioned at any point up or down on the tapping shaft. The drill chuck shaft is 8mm diameter so it would also be quite simple to make a centre punch to mount in the headstock. The watch movement and tap are NOT included in the sale.
